Gig Rig

Post by vonnor »

Current live setup. Classic rock, blues, and a little mo-town. Custom cut Ultimate Support "Tinker-Toys" tubes and connectors from back in the day, Pre-wired pedalboard with snake, rack-in-da-rig with a couple modules and a mixer. Win8.1 convertable tab/laptop running Cantabile for routing/processing. 10 min setup, 5 min tear-down.

I love the keyboard stand. Does it collapse?

If so, can you make me one? LOL

Finally someone with more wiring than me! Isn't it amazing just how many cables a supposedly simple two keyboard rig can generate? Can't wait for Bluetooth...

sweet rig -- especially the ipad/computer stand, but I'd sure like to see a closeup of how that attaches to the US tubes

What sound you use with multilayer samples?
The sounds that come out of both the Fantom XR module and the Yamaha are sampled or generated in layers (4 at least in the Fantom) responsive to the variation of force with which you play the keyboard. For this simple reason, they never are going to sound as good sampled in the Nord, as in the original source. When .nsmp allow 3 multisample format, controllable speed or crossfading layers, Nord will be invincible !!
