Maroon 5 Live (Moves like Jagger)
Hi Norders-
Any help building this sound? He plays it just one really quickly right at 0:50. Link:
I'm pretty new to synth programming, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!!

Thanks for the patch, naigo! Good work- darned near spot on@
What section of the tune do you use the middle zone for, the choruses?
Also, I switched the waveform of the top part to simple square. Works a little better for me

Great patch!
Yes I was gonna ask the same question. How & where in the song do you use the middle zone? That bass sound is great too - are you using it all the way through the track or just in the breakdown section?

Hi!
I would love to play this song with my band, but the preset has been made for the NS2, and I only have the EX available.
Could any of you nice guys try to import the file to Sound Manager and send the settings to me?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Because I've been unable to reproduce a sound that is similar to the one in the original song.

Re: Maroon 5 Live (Moves like Jagger)
I had a gig last night. Usually I bring two keyboards, a Nord Electro 4HP and a Nord Lead 2, and on Moves like jagger I usually play that lead hook on the Lead and a synth pad on the Electro. But last night I only brought the Electro, and as you know it's not multi timbral and I had no suitable lead sound sample available. So what to do when this song came up? Unrehearsed! About five seconds before counting in, I decided to use a Rhodes sound instead (EPiano1 I think), and played both the lead hook and the chords on that. And it worked like a charm! The song became more funky, and people danced like never before!! Amazing!
So why am I telling you this? We'll I believe that limitations forces us to be creative. So instead of trying to sound like someone else, I decided to sound like myself, and as a result I played a whole lot better, and the audience enjoyed it even more. So, don't lose yourself in endless search for that perfect sound. Let your personality shine through.
