Here is a good you tube clip with Townsend showing his synth setup and how he made Won't Get Fooled Again

Re: Won't Get Fooled Again
Here's my attempt with the LFO. Wave 2 for the backing chords. Wave 6 for the 'melody' to bring it out a bit... The attack feels better this way than with the tremolo, I think.

Re: Won't Get Fooled Again
Here's my take on it. Simply the Wave #7 with a LFO. Control pedal to float intensity. A little phaser and lots of reverb. Added a background Vox organ to make it easier for live playing.

Thank you Tom, for sharing.
About live, how do you synchronize your frequency of LFO with your drummer ?
- Do you use a metronome or a clic, provided by a sofware...?
- or the drummer only synchronize by earing the intro..?
- else ?
Thanks in advance.
Pierre

Re: Won't Get Fooled Again
Hi everyone. Is there a way I can use these (fabulous!) samples on my nord stage 3? I've been trying to upload each of them using Nord Sound Manager but I keep getting a message saying the files aren't compatible with my instrument. Is that so? Many thanks.

What I could imagine is that you have the ns2p-file looked at in this viewer, which has been made and provided by the forum user florence if I‘m right:
https://ns3-program-viewer.herokuapp.com/
Then you only need to rebuild the programme in your Stage 3.
Cheers from Germany

Re: Won't Get Fooled Again
Johannes made a version above using the Vox organ and tremolo effect that can easily be recreated on the Stage 3. Here's a link to a version I put together for the Stage 3 a while back using the two synth panels and a WAH effect morphed to the Control Pedal --> nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... 16615.html For those of you who want to try something similar for the Stage 2, here is what I did with the Stage 3: For the Slot A synth I used Wave 8 ("Wave Organ #1") and for the Slot B synth I used a triangle wave to fatten up the sound a little. For both synths the LFOs are set with the square wave and synced to the clock, the control pedal covers the Wah effect, and EQ is used to pull out some of the midrange. Try it out with your keyboard set up across the range of the control pedal and adjust the midrange EQ as needed to make sure there isn't a frequency range coming through too strong compared to the rest. Take care.everygrain wrote:Hi everyone. Is there a way I can use these (fabulous!) samples on my nord stage 3? I have over 70 programs for the Stage 3 available at --> nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... 15748.html
Good luck to you.
