Hi,
Could someone pls tell me how to assign a single wav file sample to a single key in the nord sampling software?
I dont want any other keys to trigger the sample except for the one i have set..
Ideally i would like to achieve the following:
A Stage2 program that has panel B routed to the synth section - The synth section would contain a number of keys that are mapped to separate and different samples ie: C7,D7.E7 etc..
I assume this is possible and that i am just missing something obvious...
Thanks in Advance
Matt
Could somenone pls help me with stage2 sampling?

It is not so obvious, actually you can't usually assign a single sample to a single key in Sample Editor unless other samples are assigned to neighbour keys.
Some interesting workaround is discussed in this thread http://www.norduserforum.com/nord-stage ... t2132.html

Here's a Video I made for a similar question,
I guess the difference here is that you would need to assign the silent wavs to C#, D# as well as F and B, that way the samples you need will be triggered when needed, and the rest will be silent.

Hope this helps
