Rotary pedal serving C2D
I want to use rotary control pedal to switch rotary from slow when not pressing pedal to fast when pressing pedal. (I’m using a sustain pedal) Only when I press the pedal I want the rotary in fast mode. Is it possible?

Re: Rotary pedal serving C2D
From C2D manual:
Rotor Pedal Mode
If you are using a sustain pedal connected to control Rotor Speed this allows you to set how this should operate . “Hold” means that the Rotor Speed is fast for as long as the pedal is down and reverts back to slow/stopped when the pedal is released (or vice versa depending on the set pedal polarity) .
“Toggle” means that the fast & slow/stopped rotor speed is cycled each time you activate the pedal, like an on/off switch pedal .
Range: Hold, (default), Toggle.
So check that the setting is Hold and that pedal Polarity (type) setting is correct for your sustain,

Re: Rotary pedal serving C2D
That's how it works so problem must be somewhere else: what is the brand and model of your sustain pedal? Have you tried with different pedals?

Re: Rotary pedal serving C2D
Yes tried several. But I’m in the menu of Rotary Control. Type:closed, open, half moon. And next: rotary pedal, hold/toggle
Is that the menu or somewhere else?

That's the right menu.Figman wrote:Yes tried several. But I’m in the menu of Rotary Control. Type:closed, open, half moon. And next: rotary pedal, hold/toggle

Type: closed or open (depends on which pedal you are using, try both)
Rotary Pedal: hold
Note: assuming you are using a momentary switch i.e. a "sustain pedal" and not an on/off switch instead, of course. If still not working you may have a problem with your C2D Rotary Pedal jack input.
