Do you have any updates on this? Did the GFP-3 work?

I've got my Stage 4 ordered, might be another while before I get it, but if the GFP-3 pedal is indeed what the Triple Pedal 2 is, just rebranded, then I'll definitely be ordering one.

I too would be interested in a definitive answer to the question. However, it looks to me like it will not work. There is an image of the plug connector visible at https://www.kawai-global.com/product/gfp-3/ showing the pin positions, and they are quite different from the socket on my NS4. For example the GFP-3 plug has a centre pin but there is no centre hole in the keyboard socket.

just checking, sorry if this has been addressed before, but I can't find it:
What's the functional difference between the Triple Pedal 1 and 2? The NS4 manual does not talk about any differences..
As it says on page 59, all functions work on both.
Supposethe manual can be read this way. "A connected Triple Pedal, whether its a Nord Triple Pedal 1 connected to the Sustain Pedal jack or a Nord Triple Pedal 2 connected to the Triple Pedal jack, can be set up in a variety of ways for controlling a number of different features. The Right pedal always controls Sustain (or optionally Sustain+Rotor Hold), while the Left and Middle pedals can each control a larger selection of parameters." (Version H).

I don't think it quite says that bnoth pedals can perform ALL of the same functions

Somewhere on nordkeyboards.com I read that the NSP2 would only be compatible with the NS4. An OS update for NS3 would be great, though.
Correct, the Nord Sustain (single pedal) 2 has a jack input https://www.thomann.de/gb/clavia_nord_s ... edal_2.htm

Judging only from the pics on Thomann's website, the pedal socket of all 3 NS4 models have the same 6-pin pattern as the GFP-3 connector.

Of course this is no guarantee that the GFP-3 will work: it could be wired differently or have further modifications, as is the case with the original Nord Triple Pedal which externally is identical to a standard Fatar unit, but is quite different internally.

Do you mean they work as the Nord Triple Pedal or the Nord Triple pedal 2? Thanks

In the Nord Manual itcstates " The Nord Triple Pedal 2 is attached to a dedicated 5-pin jack" PG 59 of my Nord Stage 4 manual.

In this picture of the GFP- 3 on the Thomann site the plug clearly has six pins. Scroll through the pics and enlarge - it's unmistakeable. What am I misunderstanding please?
