The keyb of the Nord Stage3-compact is - in comparishion to an Electro5d - a little spongy. The keyb of an Electro is much more chrunchy. This is my opinion and I don't want any discussion, why I think so.
But I consider to remove the aftertouch-function by removing the aftertouch-ribbon with the felt strip. I know, that the software of the Nord Stage3-compact will recognize this - you cannot only remove the whole ribbon! In this case, you will get an error, because the Stage controls all devices.
But it should be possible to remove the ribbon by rolling up the ribbon in a free space of the housing. Is there any idea, what (unexpected) could happen? Did anyone this procedure before me? Thanks in advance!
