As for the descending drone, check out my NS3 program for Urgent where I've morphed the sub oscillator for a pitch dive. This could be a good starting point for you. This could also be done via pitch bend.

I did try to use the hits, but I'm having a problem as the output is very quiet compared to other samples. Do you have any ideas how to fix that?
