Hello,
I am new with Nord Stage 3, got my 4 months ago, second hand key. The keyboard start to have some strange behavior in the last 2 weeks.
First when i started to play, randomly after sometime, the Stage 3 looks to have some " Energy Interruption", the keyboard turn off all display and lights down for like less than 1 second, some noise in my headphone occurs like a cable being unplugged from the P10 connection, and it come back to normal, without restart.
Now the problem change a little, instead of "Turn off" for less then one second, the keyboard Freeze, the display goes off, the leds keep on, no sound, nothing works. When i turn it off and try to turn on again, it does not work, no signal of energy, no start up screen, nothing.... i need to let it turn off for some minutes and try to turn on again, then it works.
So, keyboard is out of warranty, hard to find someone that know how to fix it here. I tried to look a lot in Google and Here, but i didn´t find nothing like my case. Since i am new with the brand ( I did crazy things with my Korg Kronos) , i would like to ask for some light, maybe someone has any idea from what is happening. By the way, i changed, cable, socket, outlet, it does not look to be the problem.

If you're comfortable opening up the unit, I would suggest snugging down all the connecting ribbons. There were a spate of early problems with them coming loose, resulting in all sorts of weird symptoms.
I think I have gear issues ....

Yes... Got this with a Stage 2 some years ago... A "not so tight" sitting socket gets (simply) loose after working reliable for years... Plug it in correctly makes the board running properly again... But the missing messages on the display are supicious for a deeper issue... Anyway - I would try the inner connections first...
... onstage since '78 on the endless (?) hunt for the perfect stage keyboard...

Hello,
Thank you cphollis and M_a_c for the tips. After sometime in mantenaince and speaking with the responsible ( many things happened ) we found the problem. I attached the pictures, there are two small pieces ( i don´t know the name ) that conducts the eletricity to the board in general. They should be able to work with 12Volts, one of them was receiving less then 10Volts, what made the Keyboard went crazy and freeze. We changed both pieces and it back to normal, we thought it was the capacitors first, but it was not.
