Hey all, looks like they have finally fixed it for good with the new drivers. You'll need to uninstall any old drivers first. Follow the steps below, you should not need to disable core isolation to install.
1) download driver from https://www.nordkeyboards.com/wt/docume ... 0v4.08.zip
2) install driver as follows: under advanced options, untick legacy driver
3) install, restart for good measure, your NS3 should now just work fine

Confirmed. The driver 4.08 now works well with Windows 11 with core isolation enabled.
Thanks John.

Re: Sound Manager - USB Driver Error - Windows 10, 11
Well, I seem to be missing something...
I've gone into the device manager and uninstalled the ClaviaUSB64 driver, then reinstalled Nord Sound Manager v9 which seems to keep reinstalling the USB64 driver along with it. When I go to install the new driver v4.08, I've tried unchecking the USB64 (legacy) but when I go back to my device manager the USB64 driver is there again.
I still cannot access any of the samples currently loaded onto my Electro 3, I just get the Sound Manager telling me to connect to the keyboard, and my "Program Compatibility Assistant" telling me, in short, I still need to turn off the Core Isolation...

I've uninstalled the legacy USB64 driver and then re-enabled the core isolation.vortmaxx wrote: ↑24 Sep 2024, 00:23 Well, I seem to be missing something...

Afterwards, I've installed the driver v4.08 (without the legacy driver) and then the Nord Sound Manager v9.
Everything works fine.
You should probably uninstall all NORD stuffs and reinstall them in the described order.

Re: Sound Manager - USB Driver Error - Windows 10, 11
Thanks for the reply. I'm still unable to open Sound Manager without getting the "driver error" message after uninstalling/reinstalling everything, restarting, etc. I had turned off the core isolation, then had a bit of a hard time turning it back on as it still had the ClaviaUSB64 driver installed deeper in my program files. When I found that and removed it I was able to turn core isolation back on. I restarted everything, then installed the driver (without legacy), then Sound Manager v9, then restarted my computer with some nervous anticipation.
Maybe I should have read a little better John's previous post regarding uninstalling the driver while the keyboard is plugged in and core isolation turned on...
I'll have some more time to mess around with this tomorrow. It gives me hope that some of you are finally finding some resolution to this after all these years, and I'm glad that it is working for you. Thanks again.
