Thank you for your help! I've contacted the distributor (Thomann) and they recommended contacting Clavia's technical support first. I'll try that and if there is no other option I'll have to send it to a service center. If I find a solution I'll come back and post it here in case someone may find it useful.

I'm having exactly the same issue! Went away for 2 years and came back to getting an error the first time I turned it on and my computer wouldnt recognise it to reset it. Tried everything you tried, beside taking it apart (I'm convinced this is software issue).

By doing the 'Shift + buttons' I've definitely dug a hole. I did Shift + KBD split then errased 'flash' stuff and my computer recognised it for the first time. Then while it was updating my computer wen to sleep and that left me with no OS and now computer won't recognise it again.

Did you have any luck? I contacted Nord but they just put you in contact with a service centre. Wish there was more direct help.
