I've got a Electro 3 HP. Now i can't get any sound out of the sample section while the organ and piano/EP sections are working fine. I've tried to reload the samples from Sound manager, but no success.
Anybody got an idea on what could be the cause of this malfunction?

Re: Sample section is dead
Hi Morgonte,
What are your organs doing? Are they also fine or also absent?
Are you using any accessories with your NE3-HP? Sustain pedal perhaps, or control pedal?
In the System Menu it is possible to set Control Pedal Mode to "S," in which case the control pedal circuit will operate to control volumes of organs and samples, but not affect pianos. If your organs are also silent and you have a correctly configured and connected control pedal, "flooring" the pedal to toe-down position should restore your samples to the audio output.
Another possibility is that you have the Control Pedal Mode set as above, but have accidentally plugged your sustain pedal into the control pedal circuit. Wouldn't be the first time -- I had one person write in earlier today with completely dead audio on his NS2 at his Friday night gig. He'd done exactly that: plugged sustain pedal into control pedal circuit.
If that doesn't restore sanity to your little slice of Nordesia, please let me know and we'll keep looking for your answer.
Bless,
Pablo

Yeah, pablomastodon, I'm not really sure what was actually wrong, but when I moved the HP to a gig today, and consequently unplugged the control and sustain pedals, the sample section started to work again . Thanx!

Re: Sample section is dead [SOLVED]
ha ha - I came here with the same Silent samples problem. I usually have Exp set to control just organ and samples. I was playing at home without the Exp pedal plugged in. Organ was playing fine at fixed volume, which kinda foxed me. Ass soon as I plugged the Exp pedal in the samples came back.
