No way to view Song List alphabetically?
I know I can view presets in an alphabetical list, but strangely it seems there's no way to view the song list alphabetically. Am I missing it somewhere? I love using Song Mode and for most gig I organize the songs in the order of the set list, but ther's some bands that just call it on the fly so having a simple "view alphabetically" the same as the preset list would be super helpful!
Is there some official feature request avenue somewhere? Thanks!

You are correct.. If I were you, I'd reorganize them alphabetically the day you gig with your "on the fly" bands.. Only takes a second to do with the Nord Sound Manager.

Use a tablet with f.i. the internet based Chords.wiki. works on all platforms, auto syncs and use Midi (learn) to setup your keyboard per song. Make sets or the alphabetic books.

Re: No way to view Song List alphabetically?
I keep my programs in alphabetical order and my songs in the order of the setlist for that day's show. I also carry a Surface Pro tablet with me with backups of the setlists that I can download to my NS3s in a minute or two. You could create a backup with the song list by alpha to have at the ready or just rearrange them on the spot with a PC or Mac.
I'd recommend having a computer with you anyhow. It's only happened once in 5 years, but at one gig, one of the Piano samples was showing as corrupted upon boot (possibly a power issue?), and the NS3 wouldn't operate properly until I did a restore.

Venro, can you explain a little more about using "f.i."? I am trying to interface with Onsong, so maybe the background info will help.

Re: No way to view Song List alphabetically?
If you need to do that on the fly, you may get a cheap Windows tablet so you can run Nord Sound Manager on it and have it at hand on a music stand to select songs, also alphabetically (and you may also run some OnSong alternative software on it, for example Unrealbook, or Camelot Pro or other)Nos402 wrote:I know I can view presets in an alphabetical list, but strangely it seems there's no way to view the song list alphabetically. Regarding feature requests, you can only write to Nord support but I am afraid the won't make such a development on the Stage 3, considering they even dropped Song mode on Stage 4.
Probably using an external software for managing setlists is the way to go, also in Nord's mind, as it also makes you more independent on the single keyboard (i.e. you can easily create Songs with alternatives depending on your setup)

Re: No way to view Song List alphabetically?
Hi, is there a fast way to sort alphabetically or is just the drag and drop in the nord sound manager? Thanks

Re: No way to view Song List alphabetically?
For anybody wondering, from what I can tell, there is no way to quickly sort programs alphabetically in the nord sound manager. Just have to go and do it manually.
