this is probably awkwardly worded...but here it goes
I would like connect a CV Pot to the jack and have it "share" morph with Aftertouch
does any have technical knowledge to look at schematics and be able to tell if a pot could be plugged in and not "shut off" aftertouch if the proper trace was snipped internally?

If you can PM me (here on the forum) the schematics and service manual (as an attachment to the PM) I'll be happy to confirm, but I'm pretty sure they are separate inputs to the processor and the actual modulation signal is computed digitally. In other words, even if you defeated the "jack present" signal to the mcu by cutting the trace, the mcu still wouldn't add the two signals together to make a sum for the modulation it applies, and all you'd do is lose the ability to use CV modulation at all.
