I just wanted to know what the right way to install artist soundbanks was.
I needed to clear over 1000mb of my piano storage in order to install it. Rather than deleting pianos, which I thought would ruin my programs, I swapped them almost all out with the "small" versions.
The Bryn Bliska soundbank I installed also installed various large piano sizes, which meant that I now had two of the same piano, different sizes, on the board. I deleted the small ones, which left the big ones, then went through and selected "relink programs/piano presets using this piano." However, this only applies to pianos of the same size, and all my patches are broken.
Furthermore, as I try to repair all the patches using the sound manager, after I relink the A layer of a patch, the B layer defaults to the first piano in the list, without allowing me to relink the B layer piano separately.
I know I should have backed up my programs before the bank, but this is really frustrating. What should I have done?

I have found a way to fix my broken patches. Simply by pressing store twice, thereby storing the patch again, it adopts the correct piano file.

If you have two versions of the same piano sound, you could also - instead of deleting one - replace one by the other. Which can be done within Nord Sound Manager.

I see you are using the small versions of the pianos - the Artists often use the bigger ones... so if you created enough space to import a bundled pack, afterwards you can substitute the greater pianos with the priorly used smaller ones.
Then everything should be fine (and you#ve created space for more pianos or so) - I have the same problem when loading the famous Bryn Bliska pack for NS4 - but in the end now I have it and I have a soft grand (haven't used it beforde) and some nice samples...
Regards
Tim
