Nord Electro 2 screen frozen and no sound

Hello fellow Nordies,

My old Electro 2 has issues! When it turns on, it freezes on 3.0 screen and no sounds come out. All of the other knobs/keys do not respond with lights when pressed. I've tried to use the electro tool & the updater but neither has worked since the screen is frozen. Also, I tried the reset with 1& 5 pressed when started -- then screen freezes on A1 or A5, and a sound comes out like the wah/flanger is permanently on, then the sounds dies and no more comes out. I've tried the reset/test schematics in tech service manual, (1+3+5) but that doesn't work either. Should I open it up and see if I can see anything? Or is my beloved electro beyond repair? Would replacing the whole new contact strip fix it?
