Can't fasten half moon switch for C2D properly
Can't fasten half moon switch for C2D properly
Hi,
Just got my new C2D, great instrument! The only thing that's annoying is the Clavia half moon switch. I can only insert the screws about halfway into the holes on the bottom of the instrument. This makes the half moon switch attachment loose and noisy when you flick the switch. Is this how it's designed?
Otherwise, I'm greatly enjoying the C2D. The use of the drawbars is very cleverly designed!
Thanks.

What about adding some silicone or rubber washers between the chassis and the switch plate?

I have seen this problem a couple times. What is happening is that paint is fouling the internal threads. If you are able to clean out those threads, your half moon will mont nice and tightly

OK, it's fine now. I just had to use some force with a pair of pliers to get the screws in all the way. The C2D is one great instrument, very happy with my purchase. Thanks for the help!
