Re: Gig Rig
I use only NS2 for function band! We play various artist covers, but I not have situation when need 4 layers in one sound. Maybe you're music arrangement is much complex.

Re: Gig Rig
It is not a question of complexity of the music, but the sound quality. For example: a trumpet does not sound like if you blow hard or soft. Or the same way a piano sounds different if you play soft or super strong. In the form of a single current layer we have now, your trumpet will sound almost like, you play the keyboard soft or hard. The only variation will be the volume and brightness only if the .nsmp was programmed with the activated filter. The possibilities are endless. I hope I was clear with the explanation.

It doesn't collapse, but the laptop/tablet arm folds down. It fits nicely in my SUV though. I lay it on its back and slide the bagged keyboards inside it. The rack, and my monitor and gig-bag go next to it nice and neat.DJKeys wrote:I love the keyboard stand. Does it collapse?
If so, can you make me one? LOL

The piano library sounds contain a several layers for hard and soft touch. Trumpet sounds in live better take from real trumpetLeo Castro wrote:It is not a question of complexity of the music, but the sound quality. Its a USS laptop holder on an OLD microphone adapter from back in the '90's. The adaptor was cracked so I had to machine an aluminium sleeve to slide over the cracked barrel and hold it all together. Only took a slight sanding down the inside of a 41mm (38mm I.D.) tube to fit it tightly over the adapter, then drilled the two holes for set-screw access.pablomastodon wrote:...I'd sure like to see a closeup of how that attaches to the US tubes...

The Motif Rack ES has great chunk and power guitar sounds that I use a lot, and the Fantom XR has Clavinets with release samples that I like better than the Nord's. I hope to find some in the FA-06 so I can scrub-out the XR. Just started going through all the FA sounds though.zzAARzz wrote:You can download sounds in you're NS2 and not bring all these pieces to stage...

16 cables, and the midi is snaked. The all fold up inside the rack though. Very easy tear-down...RedLeo wrote:Finally someone with more wiring than me! Isn't it amazing just how many cables a supposedly simple two keyboard rig can generate? ...

Re: Gig Rig
I just not care so much about NOT keyboard sounds, because i not play sax style, or big band arangements, or Beethoven's symphony on keyboard. Mellotron have only one layer sounds, so it possible to play +100500 rock and pop songs. ))) Why The Beatles or Led Zeppelin use mellotron? Are they not have money for a session music ants?Leo Castro wrote:My friend....trumpet was just an example. we are talking of .nsmp here.....not piano format .npno....zzAARzz wrote:The piano library sounds contain a several layers for hard and soft touch.
