I tried it with the Band and it cuts through very well.

So I reinstalled it then hooked my E4SW73 up to my Roland RD700NX. NOW I GET THE HYPE. When played from a good weighted action this piano sample is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. Well done, Nord.

When I play with my electric bands, I need a piano voice with enough bright content that the upper harmonics can come across cleanly in the mix. Lots of ways to get there: eq, doubling with a DX tines sound, etc. The new Silver Piano seems to do the job better than the previous Bright Grand, Faz, etc. (and without unusual measures) so it's now earned a permanent spot in my limited piano memory.
I think I have gear issues ....

Just downloaded this (med vers) on my E3 and I'm really impressed. Richer, less tinny sounding. Good job Nord!

That is because real pianos do not have dampers in the top keys!

Jesus what a mess...I've deleted it without knowing...was more or less like this (again, sorry folks):

what do you people think about the sustain in the higher notes from G6 to up on the keyboard. In my opinion is a little bit to much. I'm not referring to this sample in particular but on the general. It almost appears that the sustain pedal is always pressed down.

I've made an example with everything disconnected (reverb off, triple pedal, string res)

The piano samples used are: mellow and silver

Any opinion about these examples

Thanks!

a little confused that Mr. G's response seems to precede the post to which it responds, but...

yes, fccmt, because the high frequency strings experience must faster decay, piano designers for centuries have not bothered to put dampers on high strings. Saves time and money and makes design simpler.

Do not worry Pablo, the arrow of time is pointing in the right direction. fccmt posted his question first, I replied, he then reposted it again below my answer and edited the first one, deleting everything and leaving "thanks".
It really looks as if did answer before the question. :D
