For old-timers like me, it's amazing what YouTube can resurrect from the past. Just found this, the first song I sold commercially. Also a stark reminder of just how cheesy the 80's could be...

I wrote it on guitar, so hardly a keyboard to be heard other than a simple arpeggiated background line. The arrangement is basically just copied from my original demo surprisingly, (apart from the guitar solo obviously!), and it was produced by the late Andy Johns - who could ask for better?

I had to go to Spotify and listen to some of the other MSG songs... I didn't know much about that group - but that sound is very familiar - just the way I like it!

Great that we have people with so much talent here on the User Forum!
Inspiration for us that try to play some of the great songs of the near past :-)
