Hi guys,
I am thinking of getting the C2D and have some questions. I use 3 keyboards right now, one being a Hammond XK-1 on which I split the keyboard so I have 2 octaves of bass and 3 octaves of organ. Can the C2D be set up to split the lower manual to have bass (that sounds like a bass guitar, not organ pedals) and the remaining lower manual to be another instrument, and then the upper manual is organ?
Also can I run the bass and non organ sounds out a separate output to a separate amp and the organ voice to another out (to a leslie)?
Thanks

Re: C2D keyboard questions
Hi,
the lower manual can be splitted only to play the pedal sounds, as written in the manual (The pedal registers can be played with a MIDI foot pedal, or by splitting
the lower manual and use the first two octaves with the pedal registers).
Btw the C2D has only organ sounds (Hammond B3, Vox, Farfisa and Pipe), you can use the manuals and the pedal to play external modules (for example on midi channel 1, 2 and 3), but you won't be able to split them in different zones.

Re: C2D keyboard questions
The C2d is strictly an organ-only emulator.
Only B3, vox , farfisa and pipe sounds.
But the upper, lower and pedal manuals use 3 different MIDI channels, so you can control up to 3 different sounds from an external module.
And the lower keyboard can be split to play left-hand bass, so yes you can have midi ch3 on the lower two octaves of the lower manual (bass sound), ch2 on the remaining 3 octaves of the lower manual (piano or other non-organ sounds) and organ (or any other sound) on midi ch1 on the whole upper manual.
But you need to hook up a module or PC.
