Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Program edits that don't persist with a reboot would be a very serious problem.
Has any other NS3 owner seen this happen? Perhaps this is a hardware issue with your particular unit-

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Not for me. Is it a permanent issue or does it work most of the time ?
Actual synth: Nord Modular G2 - Nord Stage 3 73 - Virus Ti2 - Peak - Prophet 6
Before: Nord Lead 3 & 4, Stage 1&2, Wave, Virus C, DSI Tetra, P12, and few others...

HelloJhbackingtracks wrote:I can only hope this IS a bug, and something that will be fixed, and isn't a new kind of 'feature' or something....
But, certain synth parameters, such as a basic frequency cutoff filter, aren't saving with my programs. Or, at least they are, until the keyboard is turned off, but when turning it back on again, it's like the frequency has 'reset' itself to '0' in knob position. And I have to put it back to where I want it, and then re-save, and it'll be ok until the keyboard is turned off... obviously not ideal when getting into each new venue!!
I have my Morph wheel assigned to this cutoff filter. I haven't tried turning morph off, and saving the patch that way, and re-setting. But I don't want to loose the Morph setting I have.
Is anyone else getting this issue with the latest OS? How are bugs reported? As this should probably be reported... unless it's an already known thing?
Just to be sure, the you set the memory protection to ´Off' in the system menu ?
Regards
Daniel

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
Unfortunately this is nothing to do with Memory Protection being "Off" (As it already is) and I've already made programs, and deleted lots of stock patches, moved things around etc.
The Stage 3, is simply 'forgetting' any of the places I left my frequency/shape knobs within a SAVED program, after the keyboard is turned off, and back on again. It will remember it if I don't turn the keyboard off, and move programs, and come back, it'll be left where I saved it, but when getting into the next venue after power off, It's gone!
How do you report a bug like this officially?

Re: NS3 Bug reports etc.
ns3 just received. Nice beast
Bugs on B3 Org Tonewheel settings:
the clean and vintage 1 make the same sound. The vintage 2 has leakage. But it should have more, cause the vintage 1 does not work.
Thanks Nord to see this.
