Flute
After reading this article:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep03/a ... ecrets.htm
I made this flute patch: Actually, there are 2 patches. The flute and the blowing noise. Simply load one in panel A, and the other in panel B, and mix them together.
Did anybody else make a flute patch? I'd be interested in what you came up with!

I made this flute patch
(I thought I was the only one to share...)
Could you send the Patch instead : I'm not a .nss fan (for now) : I prefer .nspg files.kagamul wrote:Actually, there are 2 patches. The flute and the blowing noise. Simply load one in panel A, and the other in panel B, and mix them together.
There are some on the Yahoo group (some were "strawberry fileds" oriented): I might upload them once for everyone to compare. What I like on this forum is the mp3 samples, but it takes longer than simple patches posting.kagamul wrote:Did anybody else make a flute patch? I'd be interested in what you came up with!

Try to tweak the VCA attack and LP cutoff for different colours!

Re: Flute
Hi,
wow, cool!! I am currently looking for a good book on Synth programming in order to get some nice synthesized versions of "natural" instruments.
The flute is really cool IMHO, has a bit an Panflute touch. The stawberry field on the other hand is more Mellotron-like but an excellent sound-a-like. Thanks for sharing!!

I would have pointed out the same articles! Those are great!Johannes wrote: I am currently looking for a good book on Synth programming in order to get some nice synthesized versions of "natural" instruments.
I'd be interested in a good synth-book too, but I haven't been able to find one yet...
The next sounds I'll be working on will be strings...
