Nord Electro 5 control pedal to switch sound
When I play live I want to be able to quickly switch my organ sound back and fourth for playing riffs and rhythm. Is there a way to do this with a control pedal? My boss control pedal seems to do nothing.

Re: Nord Electro 5 control pedal to switch sound
I built a switching pedal myself. It consists of four knobs and is based on an Arduino board. For sound organization I use the Song List feature of Electro 5D and the four knobs are dedicated to switch between A, B, C and D program of a song. The pedal is connected via MIDI IN.
I believe, I have a picture somewhere ... But where?
Best regards

Additionally... If you have a pedal, which is able to send MIDI CC‘s it might be programmed in a way to get the same function...

Re: Nord Electro 5 control pedal to switch sound
As posted before. I build up a Midi foot switch myself based on an Arduino.
So I have all songs stored in setlist 1 with up to four different programs (sounds). I select the song via the rotary knob on the Electro 5D. I switch the sounds inside a song by pressing one of 4 buttons on my foot switch. See the picture below for the final view of my board with the foot switch in the middle:
The Youtube video shows a Midi monitoring software on switching between slot A and B in songlist mode.
The following pictures show the first ugly looking test based on which the video was taken.

Which Boss pedal? How are you connecting it, and what are you expecting it to do? Are you just looking to make the organ louder and quieter? Or select different drawbar registraions? Or...?dprmcgnar wrote:When I play live I want to be able to quickly switch my organ sound back and fourth for playing riffs and rhythm. Is there a way to do this with a control pedal? The other responses are about switching sounds using a footswitch, via MIDI commands. If you don't want to DIY, you should be able to do that with a Behringer FCB1010. But I'm not sure that's what you're looking to do...?
