Gosh, so much of the stuff on there is just so wrong.

I no longer even bother looking for chord charts anywhere — it's inevitably WAY faster to write them myself than to correct the crap out there.

dhbp-nord mentioned Steely Dan - I think I have that book too, and even though it is very good, even then there are some things it does not get right. Some things you just to plow through yourself. Recently I took a shot at the first 25 seconds of the piano-only intro to the long LP version of Chicago's "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" (attached). Previously I had also worked on transcribing the horn parts for some Steely Dan songs, which also had difficult to hear voicings.

Trusting one's own ear is a big part of it.

I also have the Pat Metheny Songbook, that he oversaw himself - while not 100% perfect, it does give great insight into how the music is constructed and opens up new possibilities harmonically, at least for me. You can usually tell the difference between a cheap transcription for a beginners piano book, and something that some thought and time has been put into.

The Steely Dan Book did help me out with a deeper understanding of Fagens' voicings, especially the infamous MU major chord
