Did you open up your Nord and change the voltage setting switch on the internal power supply to 230V or are you using an external 230V--120V transformer?
Do NOT replace the fuse until you get the correct voltage.
The correct fuse value depends on the voltage entering the Nord, so please confirm this first.

In the US, you probably had 115 or 120 V power supply - in Australia you probably have 230 V. So open up your instrument and change the switches to 230 V before changing any fuse.

First of all, I was dumb and just plugged it in and didn't turn on.
I did not open it up, but ordered a Step Down converter. I plugged THAT in , and it didn't turn on, so I ordered a new fuse.
The fuse just arrived, and it has all the same engravings / size as the old one.......about to slot it in.....unless someone here says DON'T!!!!
From what I can tell from the description in your first post, you ordered the correct fuse for 120V operation. If you confirm that the "Step Down converter" turns 230V AC input into 120V AC output, you ought to be OK. Based on the fuse rating, we know the Nords draw less than 30 Watts. Please check that your converter is rated to provide at least this much power.
If you have some 120V-rated device you consider sacrificial and inexpensive I recommend trying that first (like an electric razor).

Another alternative: Use the North American size fuse 3AG (6.3 mm x 32 mm / 0.25"x1.25") at the EU-rated current. The Nord fuse holder accommodates both EU and NA sizes, but the size it holds depends on the screw cap (both options 5mm x 20mm and 0.25"x1.25" available).
Hello! Is this confirmed by technicians? I accidentally ordered the 5x20 mm ones with the correct values and can't seem to find the appropriate 6x32mm ones in australia (brought my Electro 4hp over with me, will be living here). if i can find a different screw cap, i'm good?
