Adding Pitch and Mod to Nord Grand

i find this frustrating, because i use the nord grand as my only kayboard. sure, primarily for the pianos, but i have software libraries on my laptop for strings and things and they all use mod wheels for expression. why shouldn't i be able to use the nord grand as a controller via usb (I do) and also have expression for those libraries? I haven't been able to find anything that would provide this sadly. i don't see why a modwheel over usb would be so difficult. i'm about to buy a keybaord with a mod wheel that works over usb and rip the wheel out to make my own stand alone mod wheel
