Re: Lead 2x going quiet
Hello:
Bumping this thread. I recently bought a used Nord Lead 2x and have two separate problems:
(1) the B2 key is 'stick'y and makes an audbile squeaking/scraping sound. Does anyone have any links to how to replace or repair a Nord Lead key, or know of any shops that service Nords in then San Diego area?
(2) Several patches are noticeably quieter than others. When I attempt to use the SHIFT+LFO Waive key, I see what I believe is the MIDI value for gain, and it is constantly moving. I try to move it up or down to 'set it' as this seems to suggest, but number repeatedly moves. Do I have a bad 'POT' (stupid question, what is a pot?) or is the patch setup to have gain going up and down and I'm just misunderstanding what's happening? If I do need/want to service the 'pots' to be sure, does anyone have a video link or instructions on how to do that? I have searched youtube/online but haven't seen a good set of instructions.
Thank you,

Re: Lead 2x going quiet
can someone explain more to me what shift+LFO wave thing means? my values are between 50-67 on them. not sure what that means. I think I may suffer from dirty pots too...
