I did a search with +Black +Upright first that gave me 22 pages of results, when I did it as shown in the screenshot the number of pages found went down to 16 so the search is more narrow I think. I don’t think that the search is so sophisticated to provide a 100% exact result though, a kind of manual filtering of the results is still needed but affordable from my point of view
Unfortunately, I'm not satisfied with it, especially since it should be possible to do a 100% search these days.
This may not be so noticeable with the search term "Black Upright", but if you enter the search term "Grand Lady", for example, over 60 pages come up, including a lot of pages with just the search term "Grand" !

I agree, I also had a wish several times that the search should / could be better but seems as if the search function does not provide more, so we have to take it and work manually through the search results I’m afraid

P.S.: I just did a search with "+Grand Lady" and all other settings the same as shown in my screenshot a few posts above. It did not provide +60 pages, I got 38 pages with the search results.
Yes, many of them also contain just the word "grand" or "lady", but ALL of them also contained the full expression "Grand Lady": Search Results for +"Grand Lady"
So the search is working as expected at least to some extent

I did the same test, for what I could see it finds posts that contain at least 1 "Black Upright" exact combination, then of course it highlights also just the "upright" occurrences, but results are correct, I cannot see results with just "upright" (or "black) only.
To reduce the number of results I prefer to show them by Topic and not Posts (one of the options in the bottom part of the form)
