Re: Nord Electro 3 split keyboard for samples & organ/piano
Greetings. I have a question more or less related to this topic: is there any way for me, using the sample editor, to bind a sample to only one key on the keyboard? I own a Nord Electro 3, and usually the editor maps the sample sound across a range of keys, usually half ot a whole octave in range. What I'm asking is can I reduce this range down to only one key? Thanks for the help.

I've been trying out an Iphone app called imidiPatchbay along with an app called iFretless Bass.
This allows me to turn the local off on my Nord E3 HP and route the midi in and out through the iPhone
and assign zones to both the Nord and the bass app. Its a bit cumbersome yet but as soon as I can get comfortable I might use it on some LH bass gigs I have eliminating the need to bring two boards. Oh yeah I use iRig Midi as the interface with the phone. It works.
