Actually the French description says "partially weighted".
I didn't even read the description, I was looking at the picture: the keys are clearly longer than the waterfall SW action... and the panel says "hammer action 73"
EDIT:
I read and translated the description.
The Nord Stage 4 comes in three models:
Nord Stage 4 88 with a fully weighted (A-C) Triple Sensor keyboard with aftertouch and physical harmonic drawbars with LED indicators.
Nord Stage 4 73 features a fully weighted (E-E) Triple Sensor keyboard with aftertouch and physical harmonic drawbars with LED indicators
Nord Stage 4 Compact with a semi-weighted 73-note Triple Sensor (E-E) keyboard with aftertouch and physical drawbars with LED indicators
So it's confirmed, no more 76, and the 73 will be available in either hammer action or the familiar Compact (semi-weighted waterfall) versions!
Most likely, the hammer actions will be the same as the NP5, and so will be size and weight. So while the 73 will be about 5 cms smaller than the old 76, it will be 4 kilos heavier at about 16 kilos (like the venerable Stage Classic and Stage2 HA76).
Aaaah, tradeoffs, tradeoffs...

On NS3 we have 2 layers (panel A&B) but here do we have 6 layers?
Within each section (organ, piano, synth), at the top (near the section On/Off button) there is an LED "FX Focus" >>> I assume that will be used to select which section/panel you would like to change FX parameters for. (possibly)
If that's true, when I looked at this one more time, I think it will work something like this.
1. Select active FX section (Organ, Piano or Synth) --> FX Focus will light up
2. Within FX section, using buttons A, AB, ABC select which one you would like to edit effects for
3. Using same buttons activate wanted panels
what do you think?

yes maybe, btw only 24h to wait...
have you remarked in the FX picture
Organ LED is AB: means common FX for both Organ, makes sense
Piano LED for A and LED for B: means both piano can have separate settings?
Synth LED is A-B, and LED C: this A-B is curious... maybe we can have synth A, synth B, synth AB, or synth C
Also Delay, Comp, and/or Reverb can be Global.
Organ includes a new B3 bass

At first i thought something along the lines, alright this will probably be similar to the Piano 5 where you can assign parts to the set of effects, basically a downgrade from the S3,
but this makes sense, and if im not mistaking, boosts basically the effect capabilities up to 6 seperate sets instead of 2?
On a second thought, it would be more reasonable to have 3 sets, where you can assign A or B or A+B(+C) to a set of FX.

Don’t think SUD-CLAVIERS.COM will be appointed Nord Distributor of the Year 2023

Spider wrote:True, there is no more an "External" section as such.
But I see the 3 synth sliders are labeled "Aux KB", and the synth mode can be set to "sample", "analog" or "extern". So it look like we have up to THREE extern sections controlled by the synth panel.
So it seems like they've gone from:
Stage 3 = two sample/synth sounds + two external sounds (total 4 sound sources, but max of 2 internal and 2 external)
to
Stage 4 = three sample/synth/expandable sounds (total 3 sound sources, which is less, but you can have all 3 be internal or all 3 be external)... even though it is "less" in total, it is probably more useful for most people. Okay, you can no longer have two synth/sample sounds AND two external sounds at the same time, but that is probably less frequently desired than the ability to use three synth/sample sounds, plus you also pickup the ability, if you prefer, to use three external sounds instead. Seems like a reasonable change. And Nords are often like this... the new version giveth, the new version taketh away. There are still ways the old Stage 2/2EX are the best of the lot!

The partial publication may be accidental, but the more it looks like a paper chase for us. I'm still curious how that FX section will work: Can't believe in 6 single settings that need to be tapped through. So yes, the curtain has been unveiled quite a bit, but not in a way that makes a nice presentation osolete.

right, these pics add more questions, more discussion here... the synth, the FX part, even main program/song part, lot of things are unclear for now
