You're in song mode, only the patch nr+name is listed there and not which piano you're actually using.
From where you are in the video, hit the song mode button to go straight to the patch. When you then dial the piano select button you'll see the actual selected piano changing, but the patch name will still be Royal Grand 3D (untill you rename it to something else).

I play the rhodes, synths, i tweaks, effects... i turl on the organ, and it cut everything else, it turn off the pianos synths..
Big bug, but great ns3
Possibly I have the same issue or another method which cuts out ALL sound? I can 100% reproduce an issue with the Organ section and SONG MODE, which makes EVERY section cut out, with no more sound until you power OFF and ON again. Perhaps you can reproduce this too on your NS3 Compact:
(v1.14)
TEST 1:
1) Select a SONG with a Program which uses Organ (which does NOT have LIVE stored 'On')
2) Enable the Organ LIVE button and move some drawbars. At this point you have temporarily modified the Program.
3) Change to the next Song: no sound is produced from any section. Time to power off/on to resolve.
Observations:
1) If I switch the Organ LIVE button OFF before I move on to the next Song, everything is fine.
2) Modifying the Program with any other setting in the Organ section and moving to next Song is fine.
TEST 2: (this is much worse)
1) Select a SONG with a Program which has LIVE enabled in the Organ section
2) Confirm there is sound from the keyboard, no need to touch any other controls.
3) Change to another SONG. No sound is produced from any section. Time to power off/on to resolve.
Final observation:
The fault will NOT occur in either test if you select another Song Part (2-5) before you move to next Song (as long that Somg Part doesn't have Organ LIVE enabled!)
It would be good to know if anyone can reproduce this? Is this a known issue? If it's just my NS3 Compact, well, it's being swapped for a new one tomorrow. (It also has the mod wheel/C2 note issue, mentioned in another post)
Thanks.

Obviously the last error, reported by @NorfolkPaul, can only be reproduced on a compact model -- the organ live button doesn't exist on the other models. So I'm not able to check/verify here on my 88HA.

I've logged the call with Nord Support, so I'll report back when I hear. In the meantime, someone else on a FB group has confirmed they can produce the error on their NS3 Compact.

UPDATE (RESOLVED) : Nord came back to me with a beta OS update to try and that has fixed the problem! Very impressed with the quick response. I have replied to confirm this has worked for me so hopefully this fix will be available in the next official release.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but the chorus/vibrato on the B3 isn’t as intense as on the stage 2(ex). ESPECIALLY the C3 chorus, which sounds to me like the stage 2 C2 setting.

Good work, Paul! Nice to know Clavia is super on top of this release and the software

Yes, i totally agree with you - chorus/vibrato is inexpressibly and should be more intense (bug or request for Sound Menu solution?).
On Facebook "NS3 Users"
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2521914 ... ?ref=br_rs i read this today:
Has anyone noticed that the
C3 chorus/vibrato setting on the
Stage 3 B3 section sounds like the C2 setting on a Stage 2/2EX or a real B3? I’ve asked about it in the Nord forums, and nobody seems to have noticed it (or they’re not organ players in there).

Yes, indeed. And I agree; Clavia/Nord seem to be quite focused on ironing out any issues.
It's still a really nice instrument, now having played it for 3 months or so

Does anyone know how to route the reverb AFTER the rotary so the reverb doesn’t spin? I think this should be a option in software.
