Those sound like pretty good samples!
But having done a little search, I found these, might be useful for you guys:
A free one in mp3 format
A couple of other sounds from the EII
And
here in Hollow Sun you can actually buy those good sample libraries:

Nice!
Would anyone be kind enough to prepare the Shakuhaki sound above as an .nsmpl, please?

This is the original Emulator II Shakuhachi sample used on Sledgehammer, Enigma, Sade's "Love Is Stronger Than Pride", etc, etc, etc.
Got the sample from Gustavo's link above and threw it in the Sample Editor. Add reverb, compressor to taste. I also run it through a high-pass filter, as there's some not-so-nice whoominess at the bottom end.

Hi guys, i know this thread is a bit old, but I'm new to the forum and just found this post. If anybody is still interested in this sample I have the original one that was actually used on the album and is still used by Peter's keyboardist live. I've also included the original Emulator II sample from where the one made for the album was built. The live one has the "end tail" added, while the album one was just the front end. The sample is in D# as its the key of the song.
Hope its useful for somebody
Here's an example:

Tony's sample is just so amazing!! Wow!! You guys are so good with this stuff. Question how do I get to use this on the Nord Stage 3? I am a total newbie so pardon me if this is an incredibly stupid question. Are there some links you can point me to. There is so much to learn!! I am a bassist but need to open up the brain waves and learn the keyboard.

They are in wav. format, you have to use the sample editor in order to create a sample instrument. Then you can load it to your Nord.

Uh, guys...I already posted that exact sample in Nord Sample format just above. No need to convert anything. I’ve already done that.

I'm pretty sure that same sound could be used for the intro/beginning lead to Domino by Genesis.
