In my opinion it works fine and is not slipping away to much.

Has anybody at least compared the resistance of both pedals?
The F10H basically works on the NS4 and that's good. It would be better if we know that the resistance curve is similar and not one being linear and the other logarithmic.
This is correct. We are not 100% sure, but we can say that (1) the single pedal looks the same (2) and it works with the continious mode and pedal noise on "pedal type = Nord Singe Pedal 2". So everything we know seems to go in the direction that they are the same. As the price difference to the Nord Singe Pedal 2 is huge it is an excellent option to buy a F10H and never look back.
So you have a NS4 now right? Your profile still shows NS3
Hope it will be possible to use the NSP2 also on NS3 by mean of a future OS update, but that really depends on if/how much the electronics of NS4 and NS3 Sustain sockets are different.
Yes, since last week Thursday. I also had my first rehearsal with it and it worked fine.

Hi - sorry just checking before I order one - the Kawai F10H works with half-pedal / pedal noise / pump effect etc on the NS4, just like you'd expect the NS2 to work? Thanks @superbender if you can confirm

I checked it for half-pedal / pedal noise.
Edit: If I understood the user manual correct, the Pump effect can’t be used with a single pedal 2 which is used as a sustain pedal. For this you need the triple pedal or you can use a foot switch by using the separat input. So the F10h has the same functionality as the Nord Sustain Pedal 2. Like FZiegler said there could be differences, but for this you need both pedals and do some measurement.

Yesterday night I tried different combinations of pedals for my setup. As this could also be helpful for others I want to share my final thougths.
Before I share this I have one remark. I want to minimize the weight of my setup. That is reason I bought a NS4 Compact as my only keybed. That also means that I am willing to make compromises for songs.
I am using three pedals:
- Kawai F-10H: This is configured as "Nord Sustain Pedal 2" and Function ""Sus+ Rotor Hold". So I use it as a Sustain Pedal and to activate the Rotor Speed.
- Yamaha FC7: This pedal I use as Control Pedal. It is used for different things in songs (simple volume control, Synth parameters, Organ parameters, etc). It is heavy, but I had it from my old setup and I like it.
- Roland DP-2: This is installed as foot switch. I use it to control Layer II Scene and to use the pump effect. It is light weighted and good to use.
What do you think about the setup? What are you using?

Hey everyone,
just checking, sorry if this has been addressed before, but I can't find it:
What's the functional difference between the Triple Pedal 1 and 2? The NS4 manual does not talk about any differences..
As it says on page 59, all functions work on both. I understand the 2nd Gen has continuous sensors - okay, but other than that.
The pump effect is awesome - I was once trying to mimic a side-chain compression with a expression pedal (Billie Eilish - everything i wanted), which would've been easier with the pump effect...
Two thoughts coming from that:
Awesome all functions work with the 1st Gen Triple Pedal.
Since the 2nd Gen is really much more expensive, I think it's not stupid to get a 1st Gen (maybe used)..
I love mine, definitely.

Regarding the Roland DP-10, it is able to trigger pedal noise and all the half damper goodness like the N-SP2. The polarity of it is just switched. Might be able to make it work with a little soldering switching polarity internally.

I have tested Kawai F-10 H with NS4 and It works with pedal noise. The system detected it as Nord SP-2

In next 2-3 weeks I will be able to check if GFP-3 works with NS4, just waiting for it to arrive
