You want an arp to start at the beginning, right?!
I don't know if this is the same in your case, but I noticed that KB SYNC didn't "work" with ARP patterns, and once got this answer from Clavia's support:
"Is Mst Clk turned on in your case? If so, KB Sync is determined in the Mst Clk menu, and the per-layer KB Sync for the Arp has no effect (until Mst Clk is turned Off)".

- Fixed bug where using Page buttons in Store As view changed programs. Page buttons can now instead be used for traversing the name string.
- Osc Env amount did not use correct values on negative side. Fixed
- Mst Clk Tap outside of Mst Clk menu would time out when tapping slow tempos. Fixed
- Organ Drawbars in display would update with a slight delay after Program load. Fixed
- Program Change messages were sent twice on program load with Extern set to Send On Load. Fixed

1.42 was working perfectly fine. I received my ns4 earlier this month in Thailand. On the back it says v1.00
Has anyone else got this problem?

Hmm... every crashes are considered as "serious"... (especially for stage instruments)... I would recommend filling a bug report on the Nord website... they are usually very responsive when it comes to issues like that...
Ideally, if you could remember what was the last action you did before the crash happened... would help them a lot to track down the issue...
On my end, I did not encounter any issue (yet) since I upgraded from 1.42 to 1.44...

I had a similar screen/crash. With 1.42 only once ever. I believe it was due to a faulty USB hub that I was using. Since then I have always connected the Nord direct to my laptop. HTH
