Hi System99,
you can't move a post on this forum, even can't delete - only edit it and put part of it into a new post. I won't answer until then.

Re: Here I am! My chops, my crowd, my Nord. Present yourself
Hi all,
I’m a first time Nord owner/player acquiring my Stage 3 HA88 March 2021. Like a number of members here, I’m also a guitarist. My formal musical training is in piano and largely self taught on guitar -which I’ve been playing since junior high school (around 14 yrs of age). I’m retired at 66 (67 next month) and have played professionally in the past for many years mostly as a keyboardist. I still have one remaining memento from those days as you can see from some photos I’ve posted here -a Hammond C-3 organ and Leslie 122 which is also retired and permanently installed in my living room. I’ve lived in various parts of the world some as a child with my parents but others as an adult including my current residence in the U.S. Territory of Guam which I’ve lived the longest and liked the best. The photo in my profile pic is my current setup but here are some photos related to the other musical side. The last two instruments from a past collection of many guitars. I’m happy to be part of the group and hope I can contribute in some way in the future and help other members with what I’ve picked up along the way as far as advice or knowledge.

Thanks for sharing and for being here. I envy you for your C3. Everytime I have the chance to play a C3 or B3, I immediately fall in love.
Looking forward to seeing/reading more from you, cheers from Germany

Re: Here I am! My chops, my crowd, my Nord. Present yourself
Glad to share. I try to keep the organ maintained and operational -much easier now that it’s stationary. I also have a chance for the first time to practice the bass pedals -something I never had the opportunity to do in the past when on the road. As wonderful as the Hammond sound is on my NS3, I don’t have this option as well as the difference in key feel between the two keybeds (I have the HA 88 weighted action)Tasten-Bert wrote:Thanks for sharing and for being here. Re: Here I am! Tough registration process!
Thanks for letting me join the community.
Tough process for registering though… the question was “how many black keys are in the Fmaj scale?”
- I’m only a drummer not a musician;-).
[ironically playing the Drum 3P is more like an instrument than a drum!]

Welcome - and you made itEd-zone wrote:Tough process for registering though… the question was “how many black keys are in the Fmaj scale?”

By the way, in one of my previous band the band mates were saying "we are 4 musicians and the bass player" - the "4" included the drummer (no offense against bass players, just a bad joke)

Re: Here I am! My chops, my crowd, my Nord. Present yourself
Hi,
Greetings to all here, I just came across this forum. For 3 months I have now my Stage 3. I had a Kawai MP 7SE before. But the part was too piano to me. Now I have a relatively good B3 on the Stage 3, I had to run in advance about the PC (VB 3 for 120 €). Finally, I have myself to a rebuilding ranking, since I am an electronics technician by profession. But has made a lot of work, 2 -3 days. Switch on / off In addition, as the original is behind the music desk, and when the Board is on the wall, that's really annoying. Two 230V sockets, a USB double socket for lamp and mobile phone / pad and a 9V jack for the pedal. That would also have been able to offer North with such a high priced part. Here a few pictures.Greels, Jürgen

Interesting mod, thank you for sharing it. Did you take the 9V for the pedal and the 5V for the USB from the circuit or added some other transformers?

And if you did take those voltages from the circuit, do you need some sort of security measures, capacitors for example?
