NSM could also be improved by more filter options, e.g. show only

* programs with piano only (not synth)
* programs with synth only (not piano)
* layered programs
* split programs
* programs with pianos in each type (grand, upright, electric, synth clav, harpsi)

This would make it easier to set up my NP3 how I want it. At the moment, it's all rather laborious.

Another NSM suggestion: when I select a piano or synth on the left, its info shows on the right (when enabled). This helpfully lists the programs that use the sound.

But it would be nice to be able to double-click on the right hand list to audition each of the programs that use the sound I'm looking at. This isn't possible at the moment.

The NP3 has two sound generators but only one MIDI channel. Hmmm. That's an unwelcome restriction.

it would be an improvement to be able to choose independent MIDI channels for the piano and the synth sections. They could both default to 1, and that's how it currently behaves, but the user could select different channels for each.

This would be useful when the NP3 is receiving MIDI note && CC commands. It's not going to be useful when playing the piano and sending MIDI data.

More lush and layered EP's, preferably M or L size. The only downside with these is that they are in a piano section and you can't adjust the release which is very important when you're playing 80s EP's (what I immediately noticed on "Ballad ep") but I assume that the upside to being in piano section are more voices. Suggestions for sampling would be Yamaha TX816, DX5, TG-77...

Nord grand is a fact
- 2GB piano memory
- Kawai RH-N keyboard

Also:
- first nord instrument, which keyboard is damped by material velvet tape.
- Timbre function.
