Hi there,
I've been fn around a bit with splits and layers which leads me to a few questions:
Is it possible to setup a split or layer, e.g. with two sounds from the same instrument (e.g. Clavinet and Upright, both from piano section)?
Can you also select the sounds for a split by choosing a program from the wheel?
Is it possible to change settings (e.g. volume, amp, drive, effects) per sound in the split?
Thanks a lot guys..

Re: instruments, sounds and settings in split mode
Yes, it is! You can select, for example, a clavinet in PartA and an EP in PartB. Each program has its independent volume and different effect settings. What I haven't tried is selecting different split zones, but I suppose it should be possible either. For sure you can layer them.
Edit: it's also possible to assing pedals, wheel and such to different settings in each sound individually. In fact, it's the only way to assign them.
