Hi - can anyone here point me to some good church organ samples (beyond those in the Nord Sample Library)?

Hi !
Look at my new post concerning organ samples coming from Roland Fantom X .
Have fun with them.
And, if you want more sounds, see the "Buy & Sell" section in this forum.

Hello maurus,
there are very many different types of church organ sounds.
What types are you seeking?
Full organ,
Reeds,
Flutes,
Diapasons,
Bourdon,

Either way,
Here are some from my collecion:
Pipe_Organ_Full_KM3.nsmp
(4.4 MiB) Downloaded 1359 times
Medium_Chappel_KM3.nsmp
(4.2 MiB) Downloaded 1186 times
French_Big_Pipe_KM3.nsmp
(3.96 MiB) Downloaded 1243 times
Church_Positive_KM3.nsmp
(3.9 MiB) Downloaded 1204 times
Pipe_Organ_EMR.nsmp
(3.81 MiB) Downloaded 1179 times
Sunday_YMR.nsmp
(4.2 MiB) Downloaded 1148 times
Tradi_YMR.nsmp
(3.92 MiB) Downloaded 1139 times
Church_Pipe_Org_1_K250.nsmp
(3.4 MiB) Downloaded 1231 times
KM3 is from Korg M3
EMR is from Ensoniq MR
YMR is from Yamaha Motif Rack
K250 is from the Kurzweil K250

The original programs had slow rate Chorus 1 and Hall Reverb at about 40% wet.

Cheers, Hanon

Wow Hanon, that's great and helpful! I'll certainly download them all and give them a try.
I am looking precisely for the variety to do a bit of 'registration' ... think film music; the two in Nord's sample library are a bit too close to each other (full organs).

Yes, thanks to Hanon and pp3f4577!
Both collections contain great sounds. Church organs can be so different.

One question @pp3f4577:
I really like your "Grand Pipe". Is there a special reason for some of the notes to be delayed so much?

Yes, you're right... some notes (D2-A2) have a very slow attack time.
It's due to the original sampling with the wav files from Roland Fantom.
So, I had to remove some notes.
The problem doesn't exist yet but the new nsmp sample is "lighter".
Here it is :

I dont know why, but my favorite church organ is the mellotron one. Churchorgan mkII. Its kind of authentic sounding. What about everyone else?
