A couple of samples from my Motif XF

Hi guys,

I started to sample sounds from my Motif XF before it's been sold, please find them attached.

I'm not very experienced in using the Sample Editor but am quite pleased with the results so far, but would like to get your honest feedback - especially the loops may need some more improvement ....

Haven't been able to record MP3s yet, I may do so at some point of time when I'm less busy ....

All MP3's are "raw" sounds, no filters, no effects, no EQ - and in nsmp format to make them useable on both the older generations of Nord Stages / Electros as well as the current ones

MP3's added to the original post - sorry for the improvised music and non-perfect playing

Too many people are afraid of this process. Often those who make the effort to try it discover that really good results are possible without having to be an "expert." Thanks for the really good work and also for offering encouragement to others who may have been "on the fence" about trying their own hand at it.

Bless, Pablo

Thanks Pablo!

The sampling itself is not really difficult, I'm using SampleRobot which makes it even more convenient. The challenge is with Nord's Sample Editor, especially when it comes to looping. I am still discovering sorts of pulsating sounds in the loops and have difficulties to fully eliminate them but it's getting better with every new attempt ;-)

A big 'thumbs up' from me Schorsch. Thanks. Really useable sounds from a Yamaha classic.
