Hello everyone

I have issue with my set up I have a yamaha FC7 pedal it works fine controlling volume on my Electro 6D (Organ, Piano and sample sections),
but when I connect via Midi up to a controller keyboard (Alesis Q49) it can only control the volume on the Alesis Q49 wiht Organ section and not the piano or Sample/synth section???

any help much appreciated

The Alesis Q49 is an external master and when you assign a section to it that section will only respond to controllers (i.e. their MIDI CCs) attached to that master, not the local (NE6D) ones, except for Organ where you keep the lower manual on NE6 itself (so pedal works as volume for the complete Organ section, Upper+Lower)

See NE6D manual for more info about it, but this is the correct behaviour by design

Big Thanks for your reply maxpiano , In your honest opinion is there a work around for controlling the volume playing the Alesis using the NORD electro 6D in this manner? Is it / can I change the controller 11 to receive (Expression pedal) for example? MIDI cc's all new to me

Hi! I use this roland EV to control the Volume of my NE6D. I learned, that it only effect to the organ section. Om piano section not. Ok, it works with one of my organ sounds in live modes, but an other organ sound (only B3) the ctrlped led is off, so it does not work. what shall I do?

Turn the CtrlPed led ON... (Shift+Oct Up button, see NE6 manual, read it all...)
