Mono/legato note priority on Wave 2

I wanted to see what the Stage 4 offered before making a decision, but for some time I've been thinking of moving up to the Wave 2 after owning an A1 for several years, as it seems to check almost all the boxes of what I'm looking for in a synth.
One feature the Stage 4 offers is the low/high note priority options in mono mode, which I would use a lot for layers (chord on one layer, monophonic bass or lead on the other). There are dedicated LEDs for this on the Stage 4 but it seems this could conceivably be added to the Wave 2 as a SHIFT function as it's the same synth engine (even if the only visual feedback might be on an OLED display).
I know this can be roughly accomplished by carefully playing chord tones in the right order, but to make things easier I'd love to see this on the NW2.
