Hi All,
I recently acquired a Nord Lead 4 and for some reason, I'm only able to get 18 simultaneous voices out of it. With chord memory, I am only getting 16 voices to sound. All the docs and specs say that it should have 20 voice polyphony. My unit has OS 1.30 loaded. I made sure unison was disabled on all slots, just in case that could have affected the voice count. Is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks!
Nord Lead 4 is 18 voice polyphonic?

Re: Nord Lead 4 Polyphony Issue
Update:
I've sent two support tickets to Clavia asking about the polyphony limitation and have received nothing but automatic responses acknowledging my tickets.
I'm starting to think that Nord Lead 4 is truly an 18-voice instrument. Clavia admitting such, would open a can of false advertising.
The part that annoys me most is the weird limitation of 12 to 16 voices when using chord memory. That seems like a firmware bug, but no feedback from Clavia on that issue either.
If they would release source code, I'd fix all that stuff (and the stuck note issue with the arpeggiator in legato mode) for free!
oh well
