Sticking Button on Nord Wave

The Global button (also the octave shift button) tends to stick inside the body, requiring my nail to push it sideways so it pops out. What's the best fix for the situation? Do those buttons pull out, or should I take off the top and polish the button a little, or try to relax the screws holding on the top and see if the top can be shifted slightly to alleviate the sticking problem?

This thread explains how to pop off the buttons and clean the insides:
Button Problems on Electro 6
This article focuses more on cleaning the contacts, but the button caps pop off so should help you to clean them. Be careful not to lose any of the bits inside! This seems like the least invasive method to me.
Also take care to touch the Nord's control panel metal plate for a few seconds before you touch the insides. This discharges any static electricity on you that might damage internal electronics.
Let us know how it goes.
