Electro 6 Switching Rotary Speed Via MIDI Footswitch

Post by robtn »

I have a Nord Electro 6 and have connected a BeatBars FS3 MIDI footswitch to control the rotary speed by sending MIDI CC# 108 to the Electro.

My program starts with the rotary set to slow, so when I press the footswitch the rotary changes to fast as expected. However the next time I press the footswitch the rotary changes to stop. Further operations just toggle between fast and stop. I expected it to toggle between fast and slow.

Can anyone advise what I might need to do to achieve the required toggle between fast and slow.

Regards, Rob

Hi,

what are the values sent for cc108?

Have a look here (found that with a simple search in that forum): https://www.norduserforum.com/viewtopi ... 08#p128748

There it‘s said that the values for rotor fast / slow are

fast=127
slow=43

Thankyou Schorsch

The values being sent were 0 and 127 - the default settings for the footswitch. Having now corrected these to the values you suggest it now toggles from fast to slow.

Thankyou for your help, greatly appreciated.
