keyboard error

on 6d 73 reboot I get a message "keyboard error - storage failure - press exit" I press exit and everything seems to work ok. What would cause this?

Problems with keyboard calibration memory (stored in a dedicated chip),pressing Exit calibration is not loaded but you can still play, to have it fixed you likely need to take your NE6 to official Nord assistance. Contact your point of purchase or the official Nord distributor for US.

thanks for the info. where is the dedicated chip? I am wondering if this could be a cabling/connection issue

I am not sure if it is on the mainboard (probably) or somewhere else (e.g. keybed board), anyway if you are out of warranty it would not be a bad idea to open it and check all cables/connectors, particularly the ones between mainboard and keys.
