Sample switch in NS4 change the filter setup?

I noticed a strange behavior with my NS4 and I’m not sure if it is normal.
Within the synth section, when I select sample and I setup a filter (for example LPM one) I see that if I try to switch to another sample, the filter itself will turn off and the LP24 is selected automatically.
I would expect that it would stay the same instead, not deactivating anything and not switching to the standard one.

Would you please check if it is the same for you?

I believe that is normal, since each .nsmp sample file in v3 and v4 contains also a set of standard Synth parameters values (besides the sample waveforms) optimized for that sample (if I am not wrong the same happens on NS3, need to check anyway)

And honestly these are Samples, not presets.

I remember have observed that it does on my NS3 too, when I do a Synth Init and I load a new preset (not all of them seem to do it though, they have to be from official Nord Library ones and recent) and... did you read your NS4 manual? (see below...)

And honestly these are Samples, not presets.

I remember have observed that it does on my NS3 too, when I do a Synth Init and I load a new preset (not all of them seem to do it though, they have to be from official Nord Library ones and recent) and... did you read your NS4 manual? (see below...)

Did you try this?

"To load samples without their preset settings, keeping all edited
Synth parameters intact, hold down the Waveform button while
turning the Sample dial, as indicated by the KEEP EDITS label."
