Just ordered my Stage 4 - so excited.
As a touring keyboard player my Stage 2 EX has been everywhere with me since about 2017 and I’ve come to know it pretty much inside out and I adore it; but the meaningful updates on the Stage 4 felt like I would have a pretty huge upgrade both in sounds and sonic possibilities going from the 2 to the 4, not to mention going from the 76 key HP to the 88 fully weighted keybed I think will feel significantly better to play. It’s just the price that’s been holding me back. Well, I did a job that paid pretty well earlier this year and I decided it was time to pull the switch and go for it. I’ve been watching videos on YouTube every day on this thing and I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on it! I love Nord’s live stage workflow for performing musicians so much and I think this will really elevate some of the things I’ll be able to achieve on stage.

I think thats a good upgade path, from a 2 HP to a 4 88 HA.
The HA keybed is much better than the HP. The leslie is better, the 3 x synth/samples slots are very useful. The extra storage space is handy for using more of the XL piano's. The FX are on each part layer. There are one or two other things but your 2 is still a decent board to use. The high price also stopped me buying for around a year, but i did finaly buy a 4 compact.

100% buy recommendation from me...
The TP/110 Keybed is a dream (subjective for me) and the possibilties are multiplied with the FX for each layer.
I´d programmed lot´s of Regs for the NS2, but the NS4 is (still) the uptodate Stage-Tool.
IMO even the older samples sounds better...
Before purchasing, I´d compared it with other Stage-Keys I owned:
Studiologic NumaX (same keybed quality, but only a few "Other-Sounds" and a poor Organ)
Yamaha YC (better Organs, good Piano, not so good qualitiy in the "Other-Sounds" and difficult interface on stages with poor light)
Yamaha CK (well - a totaly other level)
Yamaha MODX (more and really good internal Sounds, but not so easy to edit - especially when editing onthefly)
Roland VR-730 and VR-09 (again a totaly other product level)
The Roland V-Stage had not been under my hands - yet - I´ll see...
But I think, I won´t like to change my NS4 against anything!
The Interface, the interaction of Pianosounds and keybed and the easy way of implementing own samples are outstanding for me.
And size and weight are also an unique selling point.
In the end, the Sample-Editor and the Sound-Manager are Tools that had to be recognized as included in the price of the product.
Especially the Sample-Editor is a great tool for me.
The only thing is, that I don´t like to carry a 5000€-keyboard from rehearsal to rehearsal or even to dirty small stages.
So it could be in the near future, an ElectroHP will join me for the harder days ontheroad...
