I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with your future Leslie.
May be someday, I'll have one too ;-)

Regards,

Dan

Awesome! You're going to love it!

Thankfully, I was able to sell a bunch of musical equipment to fund my 3300, so it snuck in under the radar.

I have been using a Leslie 3000 with, first, my Nord C1, then, my Nord C2, and now with the updated Nord C2 with the C2 D sound engine. What's great about it is the 11 pin hookup that let's you control the speed of the Leslie with the organ versus a footpedal which responds slower. Don't forget to turn off the onboard Leslie sim.

I also have a Hammond SK2 which does not have the 11 pin hookup. It's not as natural as playing the C2 thru the 3300.

I think you'll love it. One word of caution. I think I damaged my first 3300 by turning the tube pre-amp on the Leslie up too much. That is a problem especially if you "lend" the 3300 to some one. Just take it easy with the tube preamp on the Leslie 3300 and you'll be okay.

Otherwise, I have found it to be perfectly balanced. I put it in my Rav 4 by myself and slide it on its side over a small piece of carpet. I have transported the 3300 on its side since I got it with no problems.

I'm thinkin' the Leslie 3300 (one-piece, two rotor) is a better choice than the Leslie 2121mkII (two-piece, rotor-sim, stationary channels)
Although the 2121 system seems more flexible, I haven't seen much about it.
I do believe when you add it up, the 3300 is smaller and lighter than the full2121 system. Also less expensive.

Hello my name is Bennie Veldman ( from the netherlands) and hope my english is readable;)
Recently I've purchased a Nord C2D.
Very happy with it!
I wonder what output is the best to connect my Nord with my Leslie 760. ( combo pre-amp)
The left or right output? Or the Highlevel jack output?

If you want to send the simulation to the PA use the high output if the pre amp can handle it. (reducing the level only takes a cupple of resistors if you are handy with a soldering iron)
Otherwice turn the simulation of and user either output.
I have a box with multiple relays so I can control the internal simulation as well as an externa leslie.

I always use ( live gigs ) my leslie. ( micing it) .
So I think I have to turn off the simulation and use the left or right output.
I'm not handy with a soldering iron ;)

Thanx for your comment.
