want some pads...
But I cant store anymore samples on my machine. Has anyone created some using simple organ/string sounds that they can share the program settings for? Im guessing you can make a 'warm pad' with a string or organ sound no? If so, what settings did you use?

Re: want some pads...
A tip is to open a synth pad (not sample) from the factory sounds in bank a, b or c. Than you just tweak them until you have a pad you like. This is the best way to learn to create your own sounds and how to understand the synth part.
Maybe it take some time but it would be well spent learning time.

Great! Learning by doing. Try different waveforms (saw, sine, square, triangle etc) and listen to the characters. Have Fun with the modulation wheel, arpeggion, filters and effects. There are no rules, just your ears and brain.

Re: want some pads...
im not at my nord4 right now but... where is sine and saw etc located on the nord in order to apply those? or did you mean, get those types of samples and then edit them? I have a 'warm' pad and a sine of some sort. I wonder what the warm pad is generally...a square? Or am i getting this all wrong

Re: want some pads...
No sample. There is different type of waveforms (sine etc) that the LFO creates. You can also Try the fm part.
